Doctorate

The course syllabus is composed of 36 credits divided into 9 4-credit subjects. The compulsory subjects are Quantum Mechanics I, Statistical Mechanics I, Classical Electrodynamics I and Classical Mechanics I. The doctoral student must take two elective subjects, which he can choose, under the supervision of his tutor. These subjects are directed to a specific training according to the area of concentration and the research field of the thesis. It is compulsory to take the proficiency test in two foreign languages. All scholarship students need to perform teaching practice in at least one undergraduate degree subject. The Doctorate Course concludes with the defense of the thesis.
