Optical, magneto-optical, photocatalytic and multi-ferrous properties of magnetic materials

Synthesis of materials by chemical processes and solid state reactions. Study of multi-ferrous properties, such as magnetoelectric and magnetoelastic coupling. Investigation of materials such as perovskites, double perovskites, as well as manganites and silenites, which can present more than one iron property at the same time, such as ferroelectricity, ferro / antiferromagnetism and / or ferroelasticity. Magnetic analysis and study of these materials made through electrical properties using measurements of P-E cycles (hysteresis) and "positive-up-negative-down" test (PUND). Optical and magneto-optical effects associated with the interaction of terahertz radiation with magnetic materials in the absence and presence of an applied external magnetic field.
